One part of me feels so happy about the fact that I have a readership base (I am going to try use some tool and ascertain whether that is fact or fiction) which is something I thought only my other blog - life-at-diapro.blogspot.com - had. And the other part of me feels bad for the people I had mentioned in the blog.
For those who're wondering about what all this yada-yada is about, like I said in the previous paragraph - I wrote a blog where I kindda mentioned peoples names. Well ... To be point blank, I kindda spoke ill about some guy and the worst part is - I mentioned his name (yeah ... Real Name). People read that blog, and kindda nagged him about it (I think!).
At the time of writing the blog entry, little did I realize (or should I say - "gave no thought to") that people who might know him, or worse - be related to, might read that blog, and the repercussion of such a scenario. I don't know whether or not something like that happened, but I sincerely hope that it didn't!
But, to give myself some credit (after all - it is my blog, and I like blowing the occasional trumpet), the instant I was informed of this angle to the whole issue, I removed all references to his (as well as all the others in the story) from the blog.
I know, understand and accept that having done that does not make my mistake disappear, and that whatever damage has been done has been done, but I just want the world (and him!) to know that I am extremely sorry for my boo-boo!
Seriously, I mean it...
On that note, to ensure that any such incidents don't happen anymore, from now on, all the characters in my blog are going to be fictitious/vague.
In other words - either I will use whacko names (Thomas could become Thangappan ... Martin might become Mahalingam ... Moosa might become Samoosa ... You get the general idea don't you?) in lieu of their real names or I'll end up using un-imaginative names (like AAA or XYZ or Mr. X) ... All that depending on my mood and the importance of the names to the story!
;)
So - my dear readers - kindly bear with me for whatever inconveniences this brain-fag idea of mine might cause.
(Hey - its 2 am here, and I've spent the last 4 hours trying to tidy up my house in anticipation of my parents visit to Bangalore. So - It goes without saying that I am tired and sleepy as hell. And so, I'm sure you'll buy-in when I say, I'm not at my
Once again - "The-Guy-Who-I-Hurt" (or should I call it "The-Guys-Who-I-Hurt")
I'm really really sorry!
It won't happen again!!!
