My best friend Chery, as he terms it, is a "Serial Entrepreneur". He started one business (Photon Consulting. Then, within the end of the first year of running itself, he started the next one. And even as I type this blog, he's delving into a third one. But, the story doesn't stop here. He's got aggressive plans to expand into a few more areas/businesses in the near future.
Also, in his TO-DO list, he aspires to do an MBA from some reputed college (ISB being right on the top of his list!).
His claim -> He wants to do an executive program ONLY - as he can't afford to stay away from his business for so long, and besides, he doesn't need the placements that a regular program gives anyways.
Want To Know What I think -> He's just too lazy to prepare harder and get the better scores that a full time MBA, from any of the ivy league colleges, would require. Ergo, the decision to do the Executive MBA program.
:D
But, in any case, it's still an ambitious thing (not to mention that it takes a visionary mindset to be able to think like that) to want to improve ones knowledge by going for an MBA, and thereby help the business grow faster and better.
All this said and done, he is a hardcore fun person to be with. Although, at times I do get irritated by his slapstick comedy and the differences in opinions we have over, ummmmm ... lets see ... everything, he's one guy who brightened my life for as long as I've known him. Thanks to him, my interests have widened from getting drunk with my friends from college - to practising pick-up routines on girls, drag racing, X-Box gaming, DJ'ing, Gym'ing (A Big thanks to you for that bro!), etc.
And, most importantly, I learned a lot of things from him.
I learnt that it doesn't pay to be shy. It doesn't pay to be afraid. It doesn't pay to hesitate, and most importantly, It doesn't pay to be afraid of failure.
He, has instilled in me a new found confidence, a strong desire, or should I call it a want, to pursue my dreams, and now - I'm not that afraid of failure as I used to be earlier.
After doing all this for me, the least I can do is felicitate him and tell him a BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG THANKS by means of my blog.
Thanks for everything bro ... Really ... Thanks!!!
