Joining Amway

Today, one of my friends (his name is not important - if you're wondering why - refer my previous post) came over home to explain "The Amway” deal to me.

Being a part of a similar MLM/Network Marketing company (It's called Quest Net btw), I pretty much knew what I could expect from his presentation. And to top it all - I had heard so many bad reviews about Amways from a few other friends. But, having worked on something similar earlier, I knew how hard it was to try and get someone to listen to your idea, and more importantly, how bad it felt when someone told you that he/she is not interested in listening to it - Point Blank!

Anyways ... I decided to respect his effort of wanting to explain to me, and sat through the whole presentation (which lasted for a good 30 mins).

And you know what? Although I still prefer my original Quest Net marketing jig to Amway, many of the urban legends that people had fed me about Amway have disappeared. As a matter of fact, I've started to think that Amway is indeed something that people can make money out of (although the fact as to whether/not I can make any money out of it is still not very clear to me!)

Anyways ... I am going to go back and ponder about this new business proposition for a bit (read as a week/two) before I make any sort of call on the same.
