Bomb Blasts @ Bangalore

I've heard of this happening in cities like ... I've seen the aftermath on TV ... But what I never expected was something of the sort to happen in my own city!!!

And you know what I did - the first thing I did - when I heard about it? Called my brother to check whether he was safe. Then, I called my sis - Radhu - to check whether she was safe. Basically, my mom and dad were staying with her for the weekend. So - this call was partly (or should I say primarily) to check on them. After that, I called up two of my cousins - Sriji and Sateesh (in that order). My next call went to - my best friend - Chery.
I don't recall calling anyone other than the people mentioned above.

Either, this means - I truly care only for a few people. Or, maybe it's because I was just plain selfish, and once I found out that my immediate family and most near and dear relatives and friends were safe, I didn't care to check the status of the remaining guys I know of.
I guess the proverb that "Blood Is Thicker Than Water" is indeed true. Or atleast that's what the above reaction stipulates - Right?

And this blog wouldn't be complete unless I mention the fact that a few people did care enough to call/ping/sms to check on how I was doing. Okay ... So - I'm trying to show off here. But, I guess I am entitled to do that ... (Isn't everyone???)

1. Pavani ping’ed me via gtalk
2. Rakku (aka Rakesh) sent me an SMS
3. Apeksha ping’ed me via gtalk
4. Pallu (aka Pallavi) sent me an (make that two) SMS

Thanks you all for making me feel special ... For making me feel that people do truly care about me ... For making me realize that I am not an insignificant speck on this planet ... For making me realize that I am remembered
(On that note - Do I owe any of you money, and is that why you remembered me???)
:P

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... Going Melodramatic ain’t I ... No more "Saas-Bahu" soaps for me for a month!

Coming back to the topic, as far as I heard, there were 7 blasts in the noon (around 1.30 pm) and 2 more in the evening (around 5.00 pm). So, please people, till the cops and intelligence agency folks figure things out, and this pandemonium clears up - STAY INDOORS!!!
