Ingredients
Chicken Breast - 1 pound
Finely Chopped Onion - 2
Crushed Garlic & Garlic - 1 Teaspoon each
Pepper (crushed tastes better, but powder will do) - 2 Tblspoon
Salt & Oil - As needed
Preparation
Heat some oil in a pressure cooker. Add the finely chopped onions, pepper, salt, crushed ginger and garlic into the cooker and stir till onion starts turning brown. Add the chicken breast (cut to small pieces) into the cooker.
* If you want a dry side dish - No need to add any water as chicken breast contains the requisite water.
* If you want a gravy like dish - Add 1 cup water to the mixture.
Close cooker lid, put the weight on and cook on a medium flame.
(4 whistles or 16 mins - whichever is sooner - is my preferred estimation metric)
Transfer contents from the cooker onto an open stove and continue cooking, on a low flame, the contents till desired dryness/consistency is achieved.
Add additional salt, pepper, oil, water to the dish as deem fit
Garnish with Coriander leaves.
Note: Tastes best with white bread, chappati or rice & yogurt.
